"The Bachelorette" star Rachel Lindsay kicked contestant DeMario Jackson off the show before the second rose ceremony last week. After his girlfriend (or ex-girlfriend?), Lexi, called him out on national TV for going on the show without her knowledge, Rachel decided he wasn't potential husband material.
Although she sent him home, there's more to come on Episode 3 — and that's not all. It turns out DeMario is going to get another shot at dating, reality TV style, on the upcoming season of "Bachelor in Paradise."
DeMario returns
A preview for "The Bachelorette" Episode 3 shows DeMario talking to host Chris Harrison outside the mansion.
Of course, he wants a second chance with Rachel. Don't they all? He admits that he screwed up not being more
The video clip below shows Rachel considering her options — should she talk to him, or is it just a waste of time? She's not interested in any guy who is not there for the right reasons, especially someone who can't get his story straight about when, and how long, he dated someone.
According to Reality Steve, DeMario won't get a second chance to compete for Rachel's final rose. No is no — and Rachel made that perfectly clear when she send DeMario packing last week. The Week 2 rose ceremony will kick off the third episode and, if Steve's spoilers are correct, we'll see Rachel turn DeMario away (again) before she starts handing out roses.
'Bachelor in Paradise' is calling DeMario's name
After DeMario Jackson's crazy ex-girlfriend story and begging to come back on the show, you'd think his reality TV career would be over. Apparently not.
According to spoiler-king Reality Steve, DeMario is one of at least five guys from "The Bachelorette" Rachel Lindsay's season who will appear on "Bachelor in Paradise" Season 4.
In fact, filming for the season just started this weekend and Steve states that DeMario is part of the initial cast that will appear on the August 8 season premiere.
Will fans freak out when they find out the guy with a girlfriend at home is heading to "Paradise"? Maybe, but this is TV. The whole Lexi situation may have been drummed up by producers who needed to add some drama to the season.
After all, we're all a little sick of Lucas "Whaboom" Yancey and his foolishness.
Once Rachel's season progresses, most fans will forget about DeMario's girlfriend situation. And by the time "Bachelor in Paradise" airs in August, we'll all be looking forward to the drama he will bring — or perhaps he will find true love in "Paradise" with one of the Ben or Nick's girls.
