It looks like the “Universal Survival” arc of “Dragon Ball Super” is about to introduce a major Broly tie-in. In fact, the new promo of the animated television series hints that the legendary Super Saiyan might be directly referenced in the show.

This is seen in the newly revealed synopses (via Comic Book) of Caulifla and Kale’s storylines in the new episode of the animated series titled "You're the Tenth Warrior! Goku Goes To See Frieza!!" The forms of the two Super Saiyan ladies from Universe 6 are being described, and it looks like Kale has been cited oddly.

The Broly’s coming

Caulifla is the younger sister of Renson, the captain of the Sadal Defense Squad. The character has an untapped power that can even exceed her brothers.

Her Super Saiyan form turns her hair gold and helps her tap into that power.

Kale, on the other hand, seems to look like “that legendary Saiyan.” Her character seems dangerous as her synopsis has a warning that fans should not let the dark-skinned beauty to skip off their eyes.

The description of Kale’s character is quite different from the definition of Caulifla's role. She has been referenced to “that legendary Saiyan” instead of just Super Saiyan. With that, fans are now wondering if her storyline is trying to hint her transformation as a Broly. If this happens, then Broly is really making its way in “Dragon Ball Super.”

Kale’s transformation might cause a big issue

As of now, the Broly is just seen in the film and video game versions of “Dragon Ball Z.” The character has yet to come its way in any series created by Akira Toriyama.

Although the franchise's creator does not directly write the animated series, he has been involved in the development of its story.

And if the show will end up featuring the Broly, there is a big chance that fans are going to get confused how the Super Saiyan will still fit into the franchise’s timeline. But, some are still hoping that the new episode's storyline is just the way of the animated series to make Kale’s character interesting.

It has been said that a female Super Saiyan that has the looks of a Broly is coming to “Dragon Ball Super.” So, some expect that the Legendary Super Saiyan will just be introduced through Kale and won't be lingering in the show. Although no matter what happens, it is hinted that there will be a big revelation in the transformation of the said character.
