Dragon Ball Super” fans should gear up for continued action as the series will about to start the highly anticipated Tournament of Power. Fans were disappointed to see Majin Buu drop out of the action early on because of his unusual hibernation. However, Frieza’s surprise inclusion blew the fandom away in just a short period. There is no denying that the Evil Emperor is still one of the most popular characters in Akira Toriyama’s masterpiece.

Frieza’s comeback will play a huge role in the already overarching story of the series and considering his deceptive nature; the unexpected plot twist is not far from the equation.

Inviting the former emperor of Universe 7 is a risky move even for Goku and there is no guaranty that Frieza will cooperate with the Saiyans that he sees as an inferior race. According to a new official synopsis, Frieza will go on a rampage soon after his revival.

Return of Frieza

Episode 95 titled “The Wickedest! The Evilest! Frieza Runs Wild!!” will see the return of Frieza from the depths of Hell. However, the Gods of Destruction from Universe 4 and nine are planning to eliminate their competitors even before the tournament. Sidra and Quitela teamed up to send assassins to kill the newly revived Frieza and Goku who was escorting him. Frieza transformed into his golden form to fend off the army of attackers, but the emperor went going overboard and started to massacre his assailants. Meanwhile, Goku was busy covering the surroundings from Frieza’s fury.

Apparently, Frieza is eager to wet his hands with blood before the tournament as he is not allowed to kill his opponents in the Tournament of Power. On the contrary, Sidra of Universe 9 is desperate because he couldn’t find any more warrior aside from the Trio de Dangers as seen in prior episodes. With Frieza rising from the dead, Universe 9’s survival from total annihilation will be very slim.

Frieza’s Betrayal

Based on the future titles and synopsis revealed on Twitter, Frieza is bound to betray Universe 7 one way or another. Some claimed that Quitela would strike a deal with the emperor and Frieza will agree to fight for Universe 4. However, recent rumors imply that Frieza will plot something with Frost of Universe 6. Both of them came from the same species, and they also acted as emperors of their respective universes.

Either way, fans can see Frieza’s betrayal coming, and it's just a matter of time till it happens.
