Despite being heavily shipped together, Zac Efron revealed that there is nothing romantic going on with him and Alexandra Daddario. The “High School Musical” star played along when asked about being linked to his “Baywatch” co-star teasing that the actress has not taken him officially as her boyfriend just yet.
“As far as I know, she hasn't said yes,” Zac Efron told The Daily Telegraph, as reported by Daily Mail, clearly taking the whispers and speculations lightly.
Although the “Baywatch” stars deny all romance rumors, Alexandra Daddario noted that she understands why this has been going on, stating that it “makes sense because we are love interests in the movie,” she said. “But this [pointing at Zac Efron] is a lot for me to handle.”

Even though Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario just revealed that they are just friends, they are not helping stop the romance rumors.
As a matter of fact, the “Baywatch” stars just even ignited the speculations again when they cruised around Sydney harbor together.
