The "Legends of tomorrow" season 3 is still months away before it returns on TV; however, the production has just dropped a new poster to tease fans about the upcoming installment of this DC TV series. The poster has been revealed earlier today via Twitter by one of the series regular actors, Brandon Routh.

The poster shows the team in one photo. Particularly, it features Rip Hunter, who is the former leader of the legends. Meanwhile, the poster also features Nate Heywood/Commander Steel (Nick Zano) together with Amaya Jiwe/Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers).

Meanwhile, some speculations reveal that Rip Hunter's role this season is still a bit unclear.

Third season to debut this fall

Routh, who usually plays the role of Ray Palmer, posted the photo to Twitter while leaving a caption that says, "New art." As a whole, the poster features the entire bad ass group; however, having Rip Hunter in the photo is somewhat surprising. To recall, he departed from the team during the season two finale, and it looks as if the new season synopsis is taking his character into a different direction.

Further, the season 3 synopsis also revealed that Rip would probably make his organization. It will be known as the Time Bureau. Hence, it is safe to say that Rip will have to make a new deal with his organization and the legends will take part of it.

Meanwhile, "Legends of Tomorrow" season 3 is expected to be launched this fall. It will be aired on Tuesday nights at CW following "The Flash."

New poster suggests no major shifts happening this season

Most of the series fans have been amazed at the quality of the new art that has been released. The presence of Amaya in the poster somehow makes them fell interested.

Most likely, her character will leave this season in order for her to return on her own time and fulfill her destiny.

On the other hand, the newest poster also suggests that there will be no more shifts that will happen this season. However, there is a huge possibility that the team of legends will pick up a new member along the way.

The poster also shows that Sara will remain as the Captain of the Waiverider and the leader of the team for the entire season.

Further, the series aims to build the strengths of each character, and they will also try to provide a very different kind of superhero in their upcoming installment. Meanwhile, season 3 is also expected to feature the reunion of the billionaire inventor Ray Palmer and the unconventional historian-turned-superhero, Nick Heywood.
