On Thursday, Blasting News reported on the announcement that Hunter Biden, 47, former VP Joe Biden's son, had announced his romantic attachment to his late brother, Beau's widow, Hallie, 43. Beau passed away in May 2015 from brain cancer. Hunter is not yet divorced from his estranged wife, Kathleen, and news has broken in the media about the problems experienced in their marriage and subsequent separation.
According to Kathleen Buhle Biden, since they separated in 2015, Hunter Biden has wasted the couple’s money on alcohol, drugs and prostitutes.
In fact, Kathleen has requested a Washington, D.C. judge to order Hunter to stop squandering the couple’s remaining assets.
Hunter Biden created financial concerns
Kathleen’s lawyer, Rebekah Sullivan, wrote that Hunter has “created financial concerns” for his family, while spending their money on alcohol, drugs, and gifts for women with whom he has enjoyed sexual relations. According to TMZ, his extravagant spending has now left the family with no funds to pay their legitimate bills. According to the court filing, Hunter instructed his office last year to reduce the monthly payments to Kathleen to $5,700 per month from an average previously paid of around $17,000. While doing so, Kathleen claims he borrowed heavily, and spent lavishly, while transferring money to his own account.
According to Sullivan, the couple’s outstanding debts are both overwhelming and shocking. Credit cards are maxed out, there is a tax debt of over $313,000 and double mortgages on their two homes.

As reported by Fox News, Hunter Biden’s attorney, Sarah Mancinelli, has declined to address these allegations, except to write in an email that the couple have been separated for some time and are working on finalizing their divorce.
According to Mancinelli, Hunter Biden loves Kathleen and admires her as a mother, a person and friend.
Irreconcilable differences, caused by drugs and infidelity
Kathleen Biden reportedly filed for divorce back in December last year and is currently seeking sole custody of the youngest of their three children, their 16-year-old daughter, with a custody hearing scheduled for March 30.
According to court records, Kathleen requested that her husband leave their Washington, D.C. home on July 5, 2015, after certain actions he took on the night of July 4th, details of which were not offered in the filing. Kathleen described the need to separate as being caused by irreconcilable differences, which included infidelity and drug use.
Hunter, for his part, denies that his conduct caused the separation and has filed a counterclaim, seeking joint custody of the couple’s daughter. According to TMZ, the separation also came just two months after Hunter's name cropped up in the Ashley Madison hacking scandal, although he denied this, saying someone had used his name.
Hunter Biden has a history with drug use
Currently working as an attorney in an investment firm, Hunter was discharged from the U.S. Navy Reserve back in 2014 after he tested positive for cocaine. Now the Biden family is thrilled that he has found love with his late brother's wife, Hallie Biden.
