Tarek and Christina El Moussa separated earlier this year and now, fans are wondering how much they are worth as they potentially prepare for divorce. Although the couple has confirmed their separation, they haven't officially announced plans for divorce and are currently reassessing their marriage after an alleged incident involving Tarek, a reported suicide threat and a gun.

Earlier this week, TMZ confirmed the "Flip or Flop" couple's separation and revealed details from the reported incident, which allegedly took place several months ago.

According to the report, Tarek fled their Orange County home this past May with a gun in his hand, which left his wife to fear for his life. After authorities were called, several officers and a helicopter responded and Tarek was later found unharmed.

They have stayed silent about their split

Although both television stars have their own Instagram pages, as well as a joint Facebook account, they have not yet mentioned their separation on their pages. Instead, they appear to be focused on their two children, daughter Taylor Reese and son Brayden James.

Tarek and Christina El Moussa are worth millions

Earlier this year, Starcasm shared a report regarding the financial situation of the former couple. According to the outlet, the former couple makes $10,000 per episode of their HGTV series and also receives compensation beyond what they profit from their house flips. As the site pointed out, Tarek and Christina have made plenty of cash through their ongoing home profits, but because Tarek is hooked in with a business partner, they do not receive 100 percent of their earnings.

Instead, the Tarek's partner, Pete De Best, receives half of the earnings from each flip.

As for their net worth, a combined total wasn't given. Instead, it was reported that Tarek has a net worth of between $2 and $3 million.
