Ouch! Forget a lump of coal. While some folks got happily engaged over the holiday, singer Tameka "Tiny" Harris sought to get unhitched from hubby T.I. Rumblings of marital woes and divorce on the horizon were barely shot down in August by Tiny's rep who stated that it will always be family over everything for them. However, it has been discovered that after six years of marriage, the former member of R&B female group Xscape filed for a divorce in Henry County, Georgia on December 7th. Some blogs have even reported that Tiny already has a new residence and wants to annul the entire marriage.

It has also been said the singer wants psychological evaluations performed on the children before custody is determined, in case T.I. contests her demands.

The quest to x-scape from holy matrimony

Born Tamkea Cottle, the 41-year-old mother of four won a Grammy for her songwriting contribution on the hit TLC song "No Scrubs." Tiny and the 36-year-old Atlanta-born rapper Clifford "T.I." Harris share three children together: King, 12; Major, 8; and Heiress, 9 months. Tiny's daughter Zonnique is from a previous relationship.

T.I.'s children: Messiah, Domani and Deyjah, are also from previous relationships. The family documented their lives on the Reality TV series "T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle," which debuted in 2011.

Another couple no longer co-starring in real life

Meanwhile, in another courthouse out on the west coast, "Supergirl" star Melissa Benoist decided to end her union with husband and former "Glee" co-star Blake Jenner.

Citing irreconcilable differences, the 28-year-old DC super hero actress filed divorce papers just two days before Christmas. According to documents, Benoist is seeking to block spousal support for either party. The couple, who have no children together, wed in March 2015 after a two-year courtship. The pair met on the set of "Glee" in 2012 and shared a few scenes together playing the roles of two high-schoolers.

Apparently, there is such a thing as a naughty or nice list.
