Young star Naveen Chandra's new movie "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu" was released on December 16, 2016. Due to less competition in theatres, most of the screens witnessed an attendance percentage of more than 60.

Touted to be a comedy entertainer, the film is a tailor-made to entertain moviegoers who love light-hearted flicks with logicless sequences. Even though Naveen Chandra is the lead hero in this flick, it is veteran actor Prithviraj Balireddy who drives the entire film.

The veteran star was at his best in this movie, and he once again proved that his Midas touch is still intact even in his fifties.

The basic storyline of the movie is undoubtedly cliched, and we have witnessed similar moments many times before in the past. Even in the midst of this flaw, it is the screenplay and spectacular performance from the lead stars which compels the audiences to stay glued to their theatre seats.

The director has described the story in a very simplistic way.

The movie revolves around the story of a village boy helping a daughter of a wealthy businessman and she falling in love with him.

It is Naveen Chandra and Prithviraj Balireddy who forms the spine of this movie. Both of them excelled in their respective characters, and it was a sheer treat to watch them together on screens.

The film has two heroines; Shruti Sodhi and Saloni. Both these actresses did a decent job, and there is nothing much to tell about their performance.

Box-office prediction

The film is now receiving positive reviews from all corners, and it indicates that it will emerge as a safe bet for the producer.

The weekend earnings are expected to gross more than 4 Crores INR as Ram charan's action film 'Dhruva' released last week is still ruling the theatres.

Hindi film 'Wajah tum ho' starring Sana Khan was also released today. Check out the review and the public response on Blasting News here.
