Jenelle Evans and her mom, Barbara, were known for their contentions. Throughout the MTV series "Teen Mom 2," fights between the women were captured. Violent threats, court papers, and explosive blowouts were the norm for Evans and Barbara. They cultivated a very mercurial relationship that always teetered on the rocks. Evans' son, Jace, lived (on camera) in a very unstable household. Her turbulent affairs with drugs and men produced toxic environments that radiated through television screens. Fortunately, life took a dramatic turn for the better.

Evans maintained her sobriety, furthered her education, and met her beau David Eason. The next big step would be a family gathering, obviously.

Board games aren't boring!

Innovative entertainment promotes intimacy and discourages stigmatization. Over The Line is all about dishing the dirty to loved ones. While it's perfect for parties, Evans, Barbara and Eason discovered some saucy truths about the other's passionate pastimes. In an Instagram post, Evans explained the rules of the game. She said, "It's kind of like charades; you either have to act it out, or you have to draw it on the board." It seems simple enough, right?

While the instructions are harmless, the questions are intense. Evans turned to Barbara and asked, "When did you lose your virginity?" Evans looked a little uncomfortable, but Barbara had no problem with the probe. She revealed, "Uh, seventeen." Even though these conversations can produce a tense mood, the trio formed a lighthearted atmosphere. Cameras need to film these moments because it's a refresher from the perpetual drama!

2017 amusement

On January 2, 2017, Season 8 of "Teen Mom 2" will grace cables across the country at 9/8c. An Instagram video between Evans and Barbara is a sweet moment for fans to enjoy. Unfortunately, the show's trailer depicts an opposite situation. The mother and daughter are still in arms over Jace, and Evans' pregnancy announcement may stress Barbara even more. Hopefully, the beauties can set aside their differences for the people that matter most: Jace, Kaiser, and Ensley Jolie.
