News about "Spider-Man: Homecoming" has swung across the web. With the arrival of Donald Glover on the list and controversy of who Zendaya will play, we finally step away from the casting to get a peek into Spider-Man's gadgets. Web wings were revealed to be a part of Spider-Man's suit in the upcoming film.

Spider-Man gets minor upgrades

A video clip came out today at Comic-Con Experience 2016 in Brazil.

The scene is a first-person shot from the lens of Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who receives a visit from Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau). "You did not receive the package?" Asks Hogan. It then pans to a package on the table with a note from Tony Stark, saying: "some minor upgrades." In the next scene, we see Spider-Man leaping from a building to show web wings similar to the early drawings featured in "The Amazing Spider-Man" (Steve Ditko, Stan Lee).

As you may know, Tony Stark/Iron Man will appear in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" to reprise his role as a mentor-like figure to Peter Parker. In "Captain America: Civil War," Tony Stark offered to help Peter make gradual upgrades to his suit, starting with the first remodel that we see in Civil War. He also expressed some feelings toward Peter's Aunt May, which may or may not play out in the film.

Where is the 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' trailer?

This is the first time we get a look at suit upgrades for the film.

Shying away from the controversy the character has received, Marvel looks not only to upgrade the Spider-Man main actor but also his gadgets. Soon a new trailer will be announced to go with all these upgrades; it's rumored to release with "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." It's possible that it will be released on the internet sooner, however.

Starring Tom Holland who is replaying the role from "Captain America: Civil War" as Spider-Man, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Zendaya as Michelle, Michael Keaton as Vulture, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, and Donald Glover, "Spider-Man: Homecoming" swings into theaters on July 7, 2017.
