Alright guys. After a couple of weeks off, we're back to new episode action, tonight, for NCIS: Los Angeles, which also means we got new scoops for the upcoming episode 12 of season 8, via the official press release from the CBS media crew. They gave us three storyline descriptions for this one, and they sound pretty intriguing and dramatic ,for the most part, as we'll see Sam get thrown into a very serious situation when he goes undercover. A Navy person gets viciously murdered. We'll also see Callen and Ana try to get some progression going in their relationship, and more.

A protection attempt ends bad

Lets see here. They decided to go with the name: "Kulinda," to serve as a title for this installment. It's certainly unique; I'll say that. Getting into the main storyline. It turns out that we're going to see a Navy guy or girl (they didn't specify which gender), get the vicious murder treatment when trying to offer up protection for a city councilman. Lets all have a moment of silence for this Navy person. Ok.

A private security firm plays a big role

Next, we learn that this heinous act, is going to prompt the NCIS L.A.

crew to set up a deep, deep undercover operation to infiltrate a private security firm, and Sam is going to be the one to get assigned to do it. Can he pull it off? Only time will tell. What we do know, is this private security firm is going to have links to several criminal organizations, so I imagine they will have plenty of intel for Sam to grab ahold of and eventually figure out who the culprits are. They high-lighted this part of the storyline in all caps, so expect to see most of the focus to lean in its direction.

Relationship talk goes down

Lastly, in the final storyline reveal, we're going to see Anna and Callen, engage in a really important conversation that will involve what their next steps are going to be in their relationship. Some production credits, reveal that Kyle Harimoto penned the script while Tawnia McKieman was hired to direct it.

Another long wait

Additionally, we have to tell you some bad news. Episode 12 will not be showing up until Sunday night, January 8th, 2017 at 7pm central time, so that means the show will be MIA for another 2 to 3 weeks after tonight's airing.

So, be sure to get that date written down, because we've got another lengthy wait ahead of us. Stay tuned.
