Hello, "Legends of tomorrow" guys. I've got some news to tell you, and unfortunately, it's not going be very good news, because it involves this massive. Well, not massive, but pretty long break that will have you waiting almost two months to see the new episode 9 of season 2. Not only that, it also halts up the new spoiler intel, because CW always waits a while to get out their latest press release when these long layoffs happen.

January 24th is the time and place. Be there

Here's what we're dealing with. According to the show's wikia page, we're looking at January 24th, 2017 at 7pm central time as the magical date when this new episode 9 will finally hit the airwaves for all of you to see, so you guys might want to go ahead and pencil that in on your TV schedules, so you don't ever miss a beat.

There could be some Raiders and lost art

Also, thanks to the show's fandom wikia page, we were able to, at least, dig up a title and some credit intel for the 9th installment.

It turns out that the producers have decided to assign the name: "Raiders of the Lost Art" to this episode. They obviously took notes from the famous Indiana Jones "Raiders Of The Lost Ark" title to come up with this gem. If this title has anything to do with the show's plotline, we might see some important artwork, come up missing. Maybe, we'll see. Don't quote me on that, though. This one was directed by Dermott Downs, and the team of Keto Shimizu & Chris Fedak, delivered up the story and teleplay materials.

New footage might show up tonight

Again, there is no spoiler scoops to be found for this one, at the current moment. I say "current moment," because I totally expect CW to deliver up a new promo/spoiler clip for episode 9 right after they get done airing episode 8. I'm pretty sure it will offer way more intel than what we have right now, since it's basically nothing. So, you'll definitely want to keep an eye out for that.

Lame holiday music special for next week

As for what CW will be airing in it's place, we can give you intel for next week as our listings schedule does extend out for the immediate 13 days. If you don't like lame, holiday music specials, you're going to want to put CW on your crap list, because that's what they're going to be airing in "Legends Of Tomorrow's" precious time slot next week. They're calling it "iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2016." Yep, it's another one of those iHeart specials that they can always manage to come up with.

It is going to feature some popular artists that are performing out of Madison Square Garden. However, most of today's popular artists, make me want to vomit, especially when they're singing holiday tunes. Anyways, stay tuned.
