Recently, Netflix has added the option to download Movies and series for offline viewing. Not all of the movies and series on Netflix are available for offline viewing, however, learning which ones are and how to download them is easy enough. Subscribers have wanted the option to download movies from the company for quite some time. But with other companies like Xfinity and Amazon Prime offering the same service, it was only a matter of time before Netflix offered movies and series offline.

Whether you want to minimize your mobile data usage, or you are about to hop on a plane and want some entertainment, downloading Netflix movies and series for offline viewing is very easy. If you have updated the Netflix mobile app, you have most likely seen the photo below.

When you select a title that is available to download, simply click the icon (as seen above) and your download will begin.

When clicking the menu icon in the upper left hand corner of the app you should immediately see the new category, "Available for Download." They offer many suggestions based on your past viewings, but they don't have an option to see every title available for download; this will hopefully come soon.
