Celebrities give the gift that drives

David Beckham flexed his spending power in 2005 when he reportedly gave his wife and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham a custom-made $500,000 Rolls-Royce Phantom. At that price, that gift was more of a stocking stuffer compared to the jewelry he gave her that year. More on that later. Rapper and actor Nick Cannon once gave his former dream lover and wife Mariah Carey a $400,000 Phantom Rolls-Royce. Cannon wanted to make sure they were riding in style. The luxury car had custom "mommyMC" license plates.

For Paris Hilton, Christmas is a time to treat yourself. The millionaire heiress spent $285,000 on a pink Bentley Continental GT. Of course, not the standard option. This Bentley had a diamond-encrusted dashboard.

Celebrities give diamonds on Christmas

In 2005, soccer player David Beckham also gave his wife a diamond-encrusted handbag worth $100,000 and the most expensive gift of them all was probably the smallest in size. Nestled under the Christmas tree was a $2.4 million Boucheron ruby and diamond necklace.

Actor Ben Affleck once gave his wife (fellow actress Jennifer Garner) a seven-carat diamond ring. According to Shape.com, the present was for "being a good mom." Jude Law reportedly gave his former girlfriend Sienna Miller a $200,000 diamond and sapphire ring. Unfortunately, that romance was short-lived.

Merry Christmas...I got you a waterfall

Angelina Jolie takes gifter of the year with her Christmas gifts. She can pick up on subtle hints. How good is the actress? Well, she knew hubby (it's complicated now) Brad Pitt loves architecture, so she went out and bought him a waterfall in California! Jolie had a feeling he would want to build there.
