Khloe Kardashian's soon-to-be ex-husband (former Los Angeles Lakers NBA star Lamar Odom) has returned to rehab. Odom voluntarily checked himself into a San Diego rehabilitation center four days ago.

Has Lamar Odom relapsed?

Reports reveal that it was Lamar's decision to return to rehab. Odom has been battling drug and alcohol addiction issues for the past several years and nearly ended his own life after a near fatal overdose last year during a stay at a Nevada Brothel. This is Lamar's second rehab stint, in 2012, Khloe Kardashian convinced the NBA baller to enter a facility for a brief three week stay.

Sources close to Odom have stated that Lamar has not relapsed, and in fact over the past several weeks has appeared happier and healthier than he has in a long time. Odom, according to pals, entered rehab to work on his "mental and physical health." Odom (37) set to become officially divorced on December 17th, is said to be looking ahead and ready to embark on a new chapter in his life.

New outlook on life?

With a new attitude and outlook on life, Lamar has been finding comfort and strength spending a lot of time with his kids, Destiny (18) and Lamar Jr.

(14), along with ex (Liza Morales) for some quality family fun. Hopefully, his family and last years tough life lesson will aid in helping Lamar successfully complete rehab and move on with his new life.

As previously reported, Lamar is not the only one moving on from the past, soon-to-be-ex Khloe Kardashian has also moved on from her marriage with Lamar and is currently dating yet another NBA star. Khloe began dating Champion Cleveland Cavalier Tristan Thompson. The couple began dating last September just before the start of the 2016/2017 NBA season.

The happy couple are still together despite the scrutiny of superstitious Cavalier fans who feel that the rumored Kardashian curse could put a damper on the Cavs' current season.

In the past Kardashian has been romantically involved with at least two NBA players that said "Kardashian curse" has been blamed for having negative effects on their NBA careers. So far, Thompson's season has not appeared to have suffered much damage from his current relationship, however, Cleveland fans remain skeptical.
