When Donald Trump announced his campaign for president, it fractured the Republican party and the conservative movement in the process. While some openly supported Trump, others were quick to criticize.

Beck on Palin

One of the first high-profiled Republicans to endorse Donald Trump was former half-term Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. After making her support public last January. Palin would get so close to Trump that her name would end up on the short list to join the ticket as vice president. Since the election win, Palin's name has been rumored to become the next Secretary of Interior, as well as the head of Veterans Affairs.

Palin has defended Trump at almost every corner, with only a few exceptions, including her op-ed critical of the recent deal made with the Carrier air conditioning company. Palin's support of Trump was highlighted during the December 5 edition of the "Think Tank" hosted by Glenn Beck.

Glenn Beck has long been known to be a far right-wing conservative, often pushing questionable conspiracy theories. Over the last year, Beck as apparently shifted some of his views, increasing his criticism of Donald Trump, while even making positive comments about President Obama.

During his Monday night TV show, Beck took a shot at Sarah Palin, and even questioned her mental health.

"Sincerely, has she had a brain aneurysm?” Glenn Beck asked, before adding, "Because I don’t know what has happened to her." Beck accused Palin taking part in a "weird" and "crazy" defense of the Donald Trump campaign.

Beck then referenced Palin's recent op-ed, stating, "You own it, Sarah, you brought it to the table. He said he would do that."
