"Flip or Flop" will reportedly end next year. Although Tarek and Christina El Moussa previously said they were dedicated to continuing to work together both with their children and their HGTV show, a new report claims the series will come to an end after their current contracts with the network expire in 2017.

On December 19, E! News claimed the 3-year-old show would soon come to an end and revealed that there are remaining episodes that will be filmed in the new year.

However, while the El Moussas will continue to film in the coming weeks, they are only doing so in order to fulfill their contractual obligations with HGTV. "['Flip or Flop'] will end after that," the E! News source explained.

Tarek and Christina El Moussa's split may have been a messy one

In May, around the time the "Flip or Flop" stars called it quits, Tarek was accused of making suicidal threats before fleeing his Southern California home with a handgun.

Also in the report, Christina, who is reportedly dating a contractor, denied that her husband had been suicidal in the past.

After news of their split was shared last Monday, the couple released a statement and told fans they had separated and would continue to evaluate "the future of our marriage" They also confirmed their plans to co-parent their kids as they work through their separation "civilly and cooperatively."
