"Days Of Our Lives" comings and goings for the week of December 5, 2016 have been revealed. The spoilers give fans a look at which faces they'll be seeing around Salem in the upcoming week, and fans are about to see some big drama. Many new and former characters will be popping up on the NBC soap opera in the coming episodes, and viewers will be on the edge of their seats ready to find out what will happen next.

Hope's nightmare continues

According to Soap Hub, a brand new character will enter the mix this week.

Actress Dot-Marie Jones, who is best known for playing the role of Coach Beiste on "Glee," will begin her recurring stint on "Days of Our Lives" this week. Dot-Marie Jones' character is named Chillie, and she will be an inmate who is being housed in the same prison as Hope Brady. As many fans know, Hope is serving a very long prison sentence for the murder of Stefano DiMera. Hope has already run into some trouble while behind bars, but her son Shawn and her boyfriend Rafe are trying everything they can to try to find a way to get Hope out from behind bars.

Brady gets comfort from an unusual friend

Meanwhile, actress Kassie DePaiva will return as Eve Donovan on Friday, December 9. The last time "Days of Our Lives" fans saw Eve she was in town for the wedding of her sister, Theresa and Brady Black. Sadly, that wedding did not take place thanks to escaped convicts, Xander, Clyde, and Orpheus causing major trouble in Salem. This week, Eve will return and share some emotional scenes with Brady.

It seems that Eve will offer her sister's ex-fiance some comfort after Theresa broke Brady's heart and left Salem suddenly.

Nancy returns to interact with Philip

Patrika Darbo will also return to "Days of Our Lives" this week as Nancy Wesley. Nancy, who is the mother of Chloe Lane, will share more scenes with John-Paul Lavoisier, who plays Philip Kiriakis. As many viewers will remember, Chloe is currently hiding away while she's pregnant with Nicole and Daniel's baby, and has decided, at least for the time being that she doesn't want Nicole to know about the baby's parentage.

Philip is the only other person who does know about the shocking secret, and he'll likely be trying to get in touch with Chloe through her mother, Nancy.

More familiar faces return to Salem

Other faces that "Days of Our Lives" fans can expect to see this week include Larry Poindexter as Father Louis, Craig Weizbacher as Myron, and Sisa Grey as a prison guard. It looks like it's going to be another big week in Salem. Make sure to set your DVR!
