Star Wars fans are praying for actress Carrie Fisher tonight after it was reported that the actress suffered a massive heart attack aboard a United Airlines flight from London to LAX. The most recent update from TMZ states that Fisher, 60, was "unresponsive" when the plane landed in Los Angeles and is currently on a ventilator at UCLA Medical Center. Although her agent has not issued a formal statement, TMZ's sources state that paramedics worked on her "for 15 minutes with CPR" before a pulse was detected.

Carrie Fisher's daughter and dog arrive at hospital

Shortly after the Star Wars actress arrived at the hospital on Friday, her daughter, Billie Lourd, arrived at UCLA Medical Center. Reports indicate that she was accompanied by Carrie's dog, a French bulldog named Gary.

Known for playing the role of Princess Leia Organa in the "Star Wars" trilogy (1977-1983) and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" (2015), she has been busy traveling around the world to promote her book "The Princess Diarist," a personal account of what happened behind the scenes of the first "Star Wars" movie back in 1977.
