Lala Kent shared some surprising news with her fans on Instagram and Twitter earlier this week. As speculation into the identity of her boyfriend, and whether or not he is married, continues to swirl on "Vanderpump Rules" and online, the reality star announced that she was 2-months alcohol-free.

While Kent didn't go into any details regarding her possible alcoholism or struggles with addiction, she did take the time to mention her boyfriend, who she didn't name, and thanked the mystery man for supporting her new lifestyle.

In her post on Instagram, Kent informed fans that she had "broke up" with alcohol and hadn't looked back. She also listed her mother as another support system for her new way of life.

"I feel good. I feel happy. Most importantly I feel kind again. The girl that my parents raised me to be," Lala Kent wrote in her emotional post, also adding the hash tag, "One day at a time."

Lala Kent joined 'Vanderpump Rules' during season 4

After filming the second season of "Vanderpump Rules," Stassi Schroeder, one of the series' main stars, chose to move to New York City and while she ultimately returned, she did so only in a part-time role which made room for other stars.

So, ahead of season four, producers brought Lala Kent and James Kennedy to the show in full-time roles.

During season four, Lala Kent made waves with her flirtation with Jax Taylor, who admitted that he'd like to sleep with her on the down low, and with her strange relationship with Kennedy. Although Kent claimed during the season that she and Kennedy never went all the way as a couple, they remained in close contact and are still friends today, despite Kennedy's relationship with another girl. Meanwhile, Kent's relationships with her other co-stars, including Scheana Marie Shay, Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute and Katie Maloney are extremely strained.
