"The Voice" 2016 top 11 hit the stage on Nov. 21 to sing live for both viewer votes and the chance to snag season 11's very first iTunes vote multipliers. Early charting results garnered at 7:30 PM Pacific --a half an hour following the close of the initial east coast broadcast and a half an hour before it was scheduled to air out west-- featured two contestants closing in on top 10 placements. So who's most likely to earn an iTunes bonus?

Sundance Head, Billy Gilman top early 'The Voice' 2016 top 11 iTunes charting results

For the second week running, Sundance Head of Team Blake Shelton and Billy Gilman of Team Adam Levine scored solid early returns with iTunes voters.

As of press time, Head's cover of the Alicia Keys hit "No One" rested at number 19, while Gilman's version of Adele's "All I Ask" ranked 31st. With more than 12 hours remaining until the 9 AM Pacific close of the voting window, both men stand an excellent chance of seeing their covers rise into the iTunes top 10, which would secure them the season's first iTunes vote multipliers.

More top 100 iTunes chart placements

In addition to Head and Gilman, five other members of "The Voice" 2016 top 11 saw their covers ranked in the iTunes top 100 at press time. The fortunate five included Nov. 15 Twitter Instant Save recipient Aaron Gibson of Team Miley Cyrus ("Hurt", number 74); Team Alicia's We McDonald ("Love on the Brain", number 81); Team Blake's Austin Allsup ("Turn the Page", number 87); Team Adam's Brendan Fletcher ("The River", number 93); and Team Miley's Darby Walker ("You Don't Own Me", number 97).

Fans can probably expect McDonald and Fletcher's covers to see significant increases in chart placement before the voting window closes, since both performed at the end of the live show.

The covers performed by the remaining four contestants still in the mix for "The Voice" 2016 title ranked below number 100 on the iTunes chart at press time. They include:

  • 115. Courtney Harrell, "What I Did For Love" (Team Blake)
  • 133. Josh Gallagher, "Drunk on Your Love" (Team Adam)
  • 177. Christian Cuevas, "Rosanna" (Team Alicia)
  • 431. Ali Caldwell, "9 to 5" (Team Miley)
