J.K. Rowling's "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is hitting theaters November 16th, and fans couldn't be more excited. When Rowling first announced the creation of the film, the internet went insane, right along with the hearts of Potterheads all over the globe. After spending most of our lives growing up alongside Harry and his friends, we were thrilled to hear that the adventures would continue in this series.

The roaring 20's and American wizards

J.K. Rowling has said that "Fantastic Beasts" is set in 1926, and instead of taking place in England like all the previous films, this film will take place in New York.

The movie will be set 70 years before Harry Potter existed, giving fans a glimpse into the American wizarding world, and reports say that the film will also show Grindelwald. In 2001 when Rowling wrote the novel, she never expected it to get the attention that it got. Rather than following the story of Harry Potter, this story focuses more on the general wizarding world and will show more of life as a witch or wizard in America.

David Yates, the director of the previous four Harry Potter films, is also directing this film.

So many fans appreciate his creative work on the big screen, and they were excited to hear that someone very familiar with the story would be directing this upcoming film. "Fantastic Beasts" is going to be a five-part series. Fans can look forward to a few more years of wizards, witches, muggles, and beasts. The second film in the series is set to be released sometime in 2018.

Magical creatures set loose in New York

The basic plot of this film is that Newt Scamander has just arrived in New York after an excursion collecting magical creatures. He keeps the creatures inside a case, and while in the city he runs into a "No-Maj" (American term for muggle) named Jacob. Thanks to Jacob, the case becomes misplaced and magical creatures are set loose in the Big Apple.

I'm proud to say that I will be one of the many fans scrambling to get a seat in the theater the day the movie releases.

For many people, the question in their minds are, "You're still obsessed with Potter? After all this time?"

And to that, of course, we answer "Always."
