Young romantic hero Jiiva's new Tamil movie "Kavalai Vendam" directed by Deekay of "Yaamiruka Bayamey" fame was released on November 24, 2016, across the world. The film has ravishing beauty Kajal Agarwal in the role of female lead.

As the trailer indicated, this movie showcased the story of urban love and the complications associated with modern day relationships.

The director has targeted young audiences as the potential viewers for this movie, and he has succeeded in impressing them with hilarious one-liners and emotional romantic sequences.

The movie portrays the romantic relationship between Aravind (Jiiva) and Divya (Kajal Agarwal). Both of them are childhood friends, and when they become matured, they decide to take their relationship to the next level. But as time passes, Divya became too bold and independent in nature, and it irks Aravind.

The actor has looked charming throughout the film, his performance in comic and romantic sequences has been excellent.
