Lauri Peterson's son, Josh Waring, has found himself in trouble with the law yet again. However, while most of his troubles result in arrests, the former "Real Housewives of Orange County" kid's latest flub occurred while he was already incarcerated.

According to a report by TMZ earlier this week, Waring, who has been plagued by reports of heroin use in recent years, recently got busted for hoarding prison wine in his cell. As a result, Waring is now facing a brand new felony charge after the alcoholic beverage, which goes by the name of "pruno," was found stashed in his bunk at an Orange County jail. Following the discovery, Waring was charged with possession of contraband in a correctional facility.

Did Lauri Peterson's son attempt to kill a man?

That's what he's accused of. For the past several months, Lauri Peterson's son has been awaiting trial for attempted murder. Over the summer, Waring was accused of shooting a man in the torso and has since been sued by the man, who did not succumb to his injuries.

Last month, TMZ revealed details of the man's suit against Waring. According to the report, the man alleged Waring arrived at the sober home where they were living at around 2:30 a.m. on June 20 and began to honk his horn. As residents of the home ventured outside to see what the commotion was about, they told Waring to leave. However, after he began to drive away he allegedly made a u-turn and began firing shots into the crowd, one of which struck a 35-year-old man in the lower torso.

Shortly after the incident took place, Lauri Peterson's son was arrested. However, it wasn't the easiest of arrests. Instead, Waring essentially took police on a chase before they were ultimately able to catch him and place him behind bars where he's been ever since. Meanwhile, Waring's alleged victim wants the former reality star to pay for his medical bills -- and the pain and suffering he has endured sine being shot.

Lauri Peterson left "The Real Housewives of Orange County" years ago to tend to her son and his ongoing struggles.
