Well, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” sassy star Phaedra Parks may want to take her time in letting Mr. Right find her, but ex-hubby Apollo Nida is not wasting one millisecond to jump the broom once more. According to several media outlets, Nida is engaged and began dating his future fiancé two years before serving an eight-year prison sentence for identity theft and money laundering in September 2014. That’s interesting. Despite Parks’ pleas for him to sign the papers for divorce proceedings, it looks like Nida was not trying to have his wedding cake and eat it too.

However, after nearly five years of marriage, the 43-year-old Parks filed for divorce in 2015 and recently announced its finalization.

Although the 37-year-old Nida may be looking forward to a second chance at love, the show must still go on for his ex-wife. The “Secrets of the Southern Belle” author returned to TV on November 9th for the ninth season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Known for its high-octane drama, alleged sources with production ties claim Apollo’s mystery bride-to-be has some upcoming scenes on the series.

Even though Nida is said to be present via telephone only and his fiancé did not shoot any scenes with Parks, fans can count on the spilled tea to be piping hot. Nida and Parks married in 2009 and share two sons, 6-year-old Ayden and 3-year-old Dylan.

Love: reality TV style

On a recent episode of "RHOA," cast mate Kandi Burruss made one very sharp observation. Burrus pointed out that when she first joined the show, she was the single Georgia peach. Now, Parks and Porsha Williams are divorced and Cynthia Bailey is going through one. Fellow cast mate Kenya Moore is allowing boyfriend Matt Jordan back into her heart and life after a blowout fight last spring.

Shade for days

The ladies of "RHOA" know how to start and keep a feud going and the latest house wars between Kenya Moore and Sheree Whitfield shows no signs of ending soon. At least for now, it has gone from whose house will be finished first to who will have completed the finishing touches first. Chateau vs. manor. Can’t we all just get along? Of course, not. Then who would watch Reality TV?
