Hey, "The Blacklist" fans. If you're looking for the new, official spoilers for the upcoming episode 9 of season 4, I hate to have to tell you that you're going to be heavily disappointed ,for now, as NBC has not released their usual press release information about it. We don't even have a title for it at this point. All my source, says everything about episode 9, is marked with a big , fat TBA mark.

The Blacklist is taking a midseason holiday break

The reason for this, is because the show is taking their holiday/midseason break, and won't be back until Thursday night, January 5th, 2017 at 9pm central time on NBC, so be sure to mark that date down on your TV calendars.

We expect to see the official synopsis spoilers to arrive in, maybe mid-December 2016 sometime. They could come sooner or later. It just depends on when NBC wants to release them.

New episode 9 spoilers might come sooner

There is a slight glimmer of hope to see some information for episode 9 before the NBC press release. NBC might drop a new promo/spoiler clip for episode 9 after episode 8 airs tonight, so be sure to stay on the lookout for that. Additionally, we might also see the producers get hounded by the press for new spoilery intel, and when they spill the details, we should be able to retrieve some new episode 9 spoiler scoopage from that.

Cancellation rumors were reported

In related news, the gamenguide.com folks have been reporting that rumors have been floating around that "The Blacklist" could get canceled after season 4, due to some declining ratings to start off the new season. However, those rumors have started to turn the other direction as the ratings started to pick up as of late. In fact, Blacklist, reportedly started dominating the ratings during the week of October 18th through the 23rd, gaining 3.91 million viewers, which is higher than the 3.77 million viewers that CBS' hit comedy show, "The Big Bang Theory" gained.

New possible spinoff show is in the works

Currently, there's also reports that the show is coming out with a new spinoff show that will be titled: "The Blacklist: Redemption," which is scheduled to debut sometime next year, so that sounds quite interesting. The show's executive producer, Jon Bokenkamp, reportedly talked about the spinoff, saying that he teased about possible crossover specials for The Blacklist and its new spinoff series.

If that weren't enough, it's reported that tonight's episode 8, might give us the first look at the new spinoff, so you might want to keep your eyes peeled for that, and stay tuned.
