Recently, CBS delivered up the new, official synopsis/spoilers for their upcoming "NCIS: Los Angeles" episode 9 of the show's current season 8 via their usual episode press releases. I just got a chance to look this one over, and it definitely sounds quite interesting as Callen is forced into a situation where he has to heavily interrogate his father. We'll also see some Thanksgiving plans for the team, get discussed, and more.

Callen's father shows up where he's not supposed to

The producers decided to call this installment: "Glasnot." It's a very short and unique-sounding title.

I have no clue what it could possibly mean, but whatever. Anyways, getting into the official synopsis, we learn that we're going to see a situation, take place, where Callen's father, Garrison, shows up in a NCIS patient's hospital room while a radiation poisoning case is going down.

Callen delivers a tough interrogation

Next, we learn that Garrison's actions are going to be a very serious problem for Callen as he'll have to drag his father from the room and take him out to the boatshed to serve him up a major, 3rd degree interrogation routine!

CBS made sure to put this part of the episode in all caps, so look for that whole situation to, most likely, serve as the main storyline for this episode.

Thanksgiving plans get discussed

Then to wrap up the official spoilers, we're going to see a pretty relaxed-sounding scene, take place, where we see members of the NCIS: L.A. crew, have a big discussion about how they will celebrate the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.

The episode was written by Andrew Bartels, and John P. Kousakis directed it. Actor, Daniel J. Travanti, returns to guest star as Callen's father, Garrison.

Alright guys. That's all the spoiler dish that CBS was willing to cough up this week. However, be sure to lookout for the spoiler/promo clip that CBS should be releasing after episode 8 airs ,tonight, because it will surely deliver extra details about the episode.

Episode 9 is confirmed for a November 20th air date

Also, the CBS press release did confirm that we can expect to see the new episode 9, hit the airwaves on Sunday night, November 20th, 2016 at 7:30pm central time, so be sure to mark that date and time down on your TV calendars, and stay tuned.
