Hey, "Blue Bloods" fans. We recently got a press release from the CBS folks that reveals the official synopsis for their upcoming "Blue Bloods" episode 10 of its current season 7. We're definitely going to see some intriguing stuff go down with a dead convicted felon case. A shocking revelation situation will happen with Jamie. Extreme justice will get sought after, and more.

A devastating loss goes down

The title of this 10th installment is: "Unbearable Loss," which is quite fitting, considering that a man will lose someone very close to him at some point. In the official description, we learn that we're going to see Frank's most outspoken critic, Reverend Darnell Potter, lose his son to a murderer, prompting Potter to forget about all the Frank drama, so he can try to get some justice for his son.

CBS made sure to put that part in all caps, so that could very well be one of the main storylines for this episode.

A supposed accident case gets explored

Elsewhere, we'll see that a convicted felon is believed to have died from injuries during a prisoner transport van accident. However, Anthony and Erin won't think that's the case, because the felon's injuries are inconsistent with the details of the accident. In light of this, Erin and Anthony will definitely launch an investigation to look deeper into the case.

Jamie gets surprising intel

Lastly, the synopsis reveals that Jamie's going to get a shocking revelation by finding out that an NYPD officer is actually the father of a mugger he shot in self-defense!

David Barrett handled the directorial duties for the episode, while Peter penned it.

Alright, so that's all the CBS spoiler dish for this episode, but they will, most likely, supply a new spoiler promo clip after episode 9 airs ,tonight, so you might want to look for that as they usually reveal more details about the episode that wasn't covered in the press release.

The show is taking a small hiatus

We also learned a bit of bad news from the press release. It turns out that episode 10 will not be airing next week, or the week after that. It's not due to air until Friday night, December 9th, 2016 at 9pm central time, so be sure to make note of that on your TV viewing calendars.
