Hey, yep it's true guys. Your favorite "Arrow" show has been given the shove, for some unknown reason, so its new episode 8 of season 5 won't be airing, tonight. Instead, CW will be showing you guys another one of their lame specials that they always air from time to time. This one is called: "The Hollywood Walk of Fame Honors." Apparently, it is going to just go over the memorable moments in the history of the Walk of Fame, and will feature a lot of popular celebrity appearances.

Blame it on the holidays

I'm not personally interested in viewing it, but some of you guys might be. For those of you who aren't, you'll definitely want to make other plans for tonight if you haven't already. Now, we do have some speculations as to why the new episode 8 isn't airing tonight. We think it's most likely due to the big National Thanksgiving holiday being tomorrow.

CW probably thinks that most people will be busy preparing for all the holiday festivities, so they just decided to skip this week's episode and air it next week when all the holiday madness has settled down.

Again, that's not an official reason. It's just my own, personal guess.

Only a short break

Having said all that, I do have some good news, which you may already know, if you've been reading this article, closely. CW is scheduled to air the new episode 8, which is titled: "Invasion!" next week, Wednesday night, November 30th at 7pm central time, so be sure to make note of that very precious intel.

Action-filled spoiler clip

As always, CW did drop a promo/spoiler clip (below) for "Invasion," last week, for those of you haven't gotten a chance to see it yet. In the clip, they reveal that "Invasion" is actually going to be a 4-part arc that spans across 4 different shows: "Supergirl," "The Flash," "Arrow," and "DC's Legends Of Tomorrow." It starts off with The Flash, screaming about aliens. Then we see scenes that feature the rest of the heroes in action.

They show heavy fight scenes, some shooting action, Flash and Arrow getting into some big disagreements, and more.

Full synopsis revealed

Additionally, we also got the full synopsis spoilers in. It turns out that we're going to see Oliver, wake up and experience a life that didn't include his experience on Queen's Gambit. Also, Moira Queen and Robert will still be alive and kicking in this new life. Another kicker is that Laurel will be Oliver's fiancee! However, things will start to turn bad when Oliver starts to notice tiny imperfections that cause him to question the new reality. Lastly, the synopsis reveals that we're going to see all the recruits in action with Felicity, The Flash and Supergirl.

They'll be trying take out some major threats. Stay tuned.
