Details on the birth of Aspen King Edmonds

It was announced earlier today that Meghan King Edmonds named her little girl Aspen King Edmonds. According to E! Online, Aspen was born on Thanksgiving after 22 hours of natural labor.

Edmonds made the announcement on social media and gave details of her experience. She bragged on her husband, Jim Edmonds and talked about how well he handled things with her as she went through natural labor. The baby girl weighed six pounds, 11 ounces. She was initially due on December 5, so Aspen was born at just over 38 weeks. Everything went smoothly and both mom and baby girl are doing well.

Being a mom was something Meghan King Edmonds always dreamed about. She was insistent on having at least one child with her husband who has four children from two previous marriages.
