For the second consecutive year, Mariah Carey and ex-husband Nick Cannon spent Thanksgiving Day together, along with their 5-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe. Carey and Cannon's divorce was finalized less than a month ago. It came shortly before news broke that Carey and James Packer had separated. Even though the parents are divorced, they still get together on special occasions to spend time with their kids.

Thanksgiving Day

Carey and Cannon reunited in Hawaii to celebrate Thanksgiving as a family.

The legendary singer posted about their day in a video on Instagram. She wished her followers a happy Thanksgiving as she and her family were apparently having a great time together. Mariah and Nick always enjoy holidays, and their children are growing up with the love of holidays as well. In an interview on the "Ellen" show, Cannon said that he, Carey, and their kids will always be family. It is important to the kids to see their parents together, getting along, and having a great time.

Mariah cooked

Even though she has star power and can get people to do things for her, Mariah went shopping for Thanksgiving and did her own cooking. She was seen at a local Whole Foods grocery shopping for her family's Thanksgiving dinner. The 46-year-old diva posted photos documenting the entire day, letting her fans know she was shopping for her Thanksgiving meal as well as cooking it. After the meal was cooked, she posted photos of her turkey dinner with all the fixings and desserts.

Now we know that Mariah can cook as well as sing.

Upcoming holiday

In a recent interview with Mariah, she said she and her kids will spend the Christmas holiday in Aspen as usual. She did not mention if Nick will be joining them, but he might.

She did say that Nick will appear in her upcoming docu-series "Mariah's World." She explained that he is around often with the kids anyway, so he agreed to make some cameo appearances. Even though Mariah and Nick didn't stay married, it is good that they are parenting together for the well-being of their twins.
