If you're a Kendall Jenner fan, it's probably harder to keep up with the model these days. Or you're probably missing her Instagram posts on your feed. That's because the reality star quit the app. Jenner went on the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to explain her detox from the social media app.

“I would wake up in the morning and look at it first thing; I would go to bed and it was the last thing I would look at. I felt a little too dependent on it. So I kind of wanted to take a minute," Jenner said to DeGeneres.

The interview is set to air Wednesday Nov. 16.

Kendall Jenner was surprised her IG exit became a big deal

Kendall Jenner was taken aback by the outcry from her fans after she deleted the app.

She had 68 million followers on Instagram before she deleted it. During the interview with DeGeneres, 58, the brunette bombshell said friends and family members were texting her about her disappearance and sending her links to news sites reporting her exit from the app. According to Entertainment Weekly, at one point, the model had the most liked photo on the platform. The photo featured Jenner lying on the floor in a lace long sleeve wedding dress. Her hair was spread out in heart shapes with her eyes closed. More than 3.5 million Instagram users double-tapped the photo. The photo that surpassed Jenner's count at the time was a grainy paparazzi photo Justin Bieber posted of him and Selena Gomez.

Will Jenner return to Instagram?

Everyone can sigh in relief! On "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" the 21-year-old said she will go back on the social media sharing app at some point.
