Hawaii Five-0” will leave fans clutching their pearls through the winter holidays. The CBS series is well versed in keeping viewers on the edge of their seats, so it comes as no surprise to learn that the midseason finale will turn the suspense to 11. "Five-0" has steered clear of December cliffhangers in the past, but the drama in season 7's storyline is just too ripe with potential.

‘Hawaii Five-0’ cliffhanger revealed!

Wondering who will land at the center of “Hawaii Five-0”’s next nail-biter? Between Oahu’s elusive serial killer and Chin’s (Daniel Dae Kim) continued mission to ensure Sara’s safety, the writers were spoilt for choice when it came to choosing an epicenter for the final moments of episode 11.

Luckily, showrunner Peter Lenkov was recently able to shed a little light on the matter.

“We're building to a pretty big midseason finale cliffhanger in Episode 11. We've never really done that, by the way, sort of end on a cliffhanger midseason. So we're trying that this year,” Lenkov told TV Guide, adding that this twist deals with “one Chin Ho Kelly.”

Is Sara involved?

Lenkov couldn’t reveal any further details regarding episode 11, but Chin’s custody battle for his little niece is far from over. Sara is in Mexico, but the cop is keeping a wary eye on her family situation.

“It's become a big storyline for us, Chin's relationship with Sara,” Lenkov explained. “The story doesn't end, but the story takes a very interesting turn.

It's for sure something that not only plays very big in the next batch of episodes, but is going to play through the end of the season as well.”

Next time on ‘Hawaii Five-0'

While fans will have to wait until mid-December to find out what problem will leave Chin’s life topsy-turvy, “Hawaii Five-0” will tackle a JKF conspiracy in the meantime.

Set to air on Nov. 18, “'Elua l? ma Nowemapa (Two Days in November)” will have Jerry in his glory.
