People magazine has named Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as 2016's sexiest man alive, and there's no disputing the actor's charm, good looks, and raw sex appeal. "That's awesome," He told People magazine in this week's cover story. "And then I thought, wow, we've pretty much reached the pinnacle." The actor further commented that he wasn't quite sure where he will be going from here, and that he has done it all. Johnson said that it took him a long time to get comfortable in his own skin, and he has taken measures to make sure that he takes care of it well.

The 6'5" tall "Moana" star has been hailed as one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all-time. He has achieved a long and impressive list of accomplishments under his belt, including a best-selling autobiography called "The Rock Says..." as well as leading roles in "The Scorpion King" and "The Fast and the Furious" franchise. He is currently the world's highest paid actor, and Time magazine named the celebrity as one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2016.

The Rock openly admitted that he has a had a tumultuous past as a teen, while growing up in Hawaii, giving reference to several run-ins with the law. However, he is proud of his family and credits them for keeping him grounded. "I feel that the big sweeping changes that happened in my life, in my relationships, of being a dad, [to 11-month-old daughter Jasmine and 15-year-old daughter Simone] of being a partner, [to longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian] and the things that I was, and the things that I am, has really lent itself to a confidence." he told People.

On Tuesday, The Rock appeared on Ellen, where she saluted him for all that he has overcome, and showed the audience People magazine's newest cover with The Rock as 'The Sexiest Man Alive', which further described him as 'Sweet, sexy, and sculpted.'. "Mr. Rock's story is an inspiring one. It's a story that takes us from innocent youth to sexy adult." Ellen said on her show. She gave The Rock a kind tribute, and revealed rare photos of the star's younger days, much to the awe and amusement of her audience.
