It will be a big night for "Dancing with the Stars" on ABC on Monday, November 14. It is the semi-final episode when viewers will see which of the five remaining couples will continue on to the finals. The final five couples will perform an unlearned dance and a trio dance. The competition is so tight this season that it is hard to predict which couple will be eliminated and which ones will stay in the running.

Unlearned dance

All couples will perform a dance they have not learned before in Round One.

Jana Kramer and her partner Gleb Savchenko will perform a quickstep. Frontrunners Laurie Hernandez and Valentin Chmerkovskiy will perform a foxtrot. James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess will perform an Argentine tango. Yes, Sharna will be back after being out two weeks due to a knee injury. Calvin Johnson and Lindsay Arnold are hoping to stay in the competition with their tango. Terra Jole and Sasha Farber have escaped elimination so far. Let's see how they will do with their rumba.

Trio dance

During the second phase of "Dancing With The Stars" on Monday night, the semi-final couples will be joined by a pro who has already been eliminated or another member of the show.

In other words, three people will perform a dance. The trio will include the celebrity along with two professional dancers. Artem Chigvintsev is returning to tango with Terra and Sasha. Laurie gets the honor of dancing a samba with two Chmerkovskiys. Maks is returning to dance with Laurie and his brother Val. Jenna Johnson is teaming up with James and Sharna to perform a jive. Witney Carson joins Calvin and Lindsay for a salsa.

Alan Berste will do a Paso Doble with Jana and Gleb.

From semi-finals to finals

So, who is going to the finals? James Hinchcliffe and Jana Kramer might have a slight advantage because they have already danced with the extra person in their trio round. Remember James' original partner, Sharna Burgess, was out for two weeks. During those times, James danced with Jenna. Also, when Gleb was out with a knee injury, Alan danced with Jana.

The substitute dancers did well then, and they are expected to do well during the semi-finals. Watch the semi-finals to see who will be eliminated and who will move on to the finals.
