"Counting On" star Jinger Duggar wed ex-soccer star Jeremy Vuolo in a Duggar-sized Wedding in front of nearly 1,000 guests on November 4, the first birthday of her nephew Spuergon, the son of sister Jessa and her husband Ben Seewald.

Not surprisingly, Jessa Duggar, who played a hand in uniting the newly-married couple, was the couple's matron of honor. Jessa Duggar is currently pregnant with her second child.

The wedding details

According to People Magazine, the twosome were wed at the Cathedral of the Ozarks at John Brown University in Siloam Springs. The magazine reported that Vuolo’s father, Chuck, officiated and his brother, Charles, was the best man.

“This was one of the most touching parts of the wedding, for Jeremy’s father to be able to officiate, stand with us and pray for us on this special day,” the couple confirmed to People Magazine of the touching event.

The couple debuted a new website titled jingerandjeremy.com, and revealed in one of their first posts their happiness at becoming husband and wife.

"YES! We are married! We are so thankful to God, our parents and our wonderful families and friends for celebrating this day with us and for helping us arrive at this moment in time. We love that we now are beginning our lives together as one, before God."

The newly-married duo has also revealed they are taking an extended honeymoon down under.

“We plan to get away for a couple of days alone together and then will be leaving the country for an amazing trip to New Zealand and Australia,” the couple said on their website. “We are so excited and so thankful for this amazing trip to start our marriage together. Most of all, we are just excited that we will be together … married!”

Fans were surprised at the urgency the couple shared in wanting to be married as quickly as possible.

Although they met in 2015, the couple did not declare their intentions towards one another until June, when they made an official announcement that they were courting. Just one month later, Vuolo asked Duggar to marry him during a trip to New York City to meet his extended family. They then revealed they would rather be on the fast track towards marriage rather than waiting.

During season two of their hit TLC series "Counting On," Jinger Duggar remarked that she would be leaving her extended Duggar Family behind and moving to her new husband's home base of Laredo, TX, where he works as a pastor at Grace Community Church. The reality star said during an episode she would enjoy working as a pastor's wife alongside her husband.

The wedding will be featured in a TLC special titled "Counting On: Jinger’s Wedding" on Nov. 15, at 8 p.m. EST.
