The new show "This is Us" is a huge hit and one reason is the character that Chrissy Metz plays. Her character Kate is a bit overweight and is trying to do what she can to lose it. Last week, she was really upset that she only lost 1 lb., but from what Chrissy is saying it sounds like that is going to change soon. Chrissy is a beautiful actress who can also sing.

Chrissy revealed what is in her contract

Chrissy Metz actually revealed what is in her contract and TV Line shared that she will be required to lose weight while on the show. Chrissy is okay with it, though. She calls this a win, win about her job.

She admits that she is more likely to do something like this for someone else than for herself. By signing on the dotted line saying she would lose weight, Chrissy knows that she will have to do it.

Chrissy Metz went on to explain that she is not selling out big girls at all. She said, "I just have to be very clear. Whether or not I lose weight or stay the same, it’s purely a choice of mine for health. Not because I think that plus size, curvy, voluptuous, big bodies aren’t attractive — because I think they’re awesome and sexy." It sounds like Chrissy is doing this for herself and not for the show at all. It just worked out that the show is asking her to do it because it might make things easier.

"This Is Us" fans can't wait to watch her go through her transformation as the season goes on.

Last week, her boyfriend did a better job of losing weight than she did. It sounds like Kate is going to pick up speed, though. Chrissy wasn't afraid to sign on the dotted line and say that she would lose weight.

Now she just has to push through and actually go through with it. She doesn't seem to have a problem with that at all, though.
