Brittany Cartwright has had a rough couple of weeks. In addition to having to relive the drama surrounding her boyfriend's claims of a lesbian hookup with Kristen Doute during the first couple of episodes of "Vanderpump Rules," Cartwright has been bombarded with weight criticism since the season began airing earlier this month.

Earlier this week, the Inquisitr shared numerous messages sent to Cartwright and her boyfriend Jax Taylor in regard to her reported weight gain and some of the comments were quite shocking.

One Instagram user even had the audacity to ask Cartwright if she was expecting a baby. "Do you realize how rude you are?" Cartwright wrote in response to the Instagram user's message message. "No I'm not pregnant!"

Jax Taylor has taken a stand against fat-shamers

After Brittany Cartwright began to face backlash due to her weight, Taylor shared a message on his Instagram page in which he threatened to block anyone who was fat-shaming one of his co-stars. He also claimed to have a connection to the people who work behind-the-scenes at Instagram and said he would contact them if he felt someone's account should be deleted.

Brittany Cartwright's curves are appreciated by Jax Taylor

While not everyone is on board with Cartwright's size, she is happy and that's all that matters. Plus, as Taylor has made perfectly clear, he's a big fan of her curves. After another Instagram post was shared, someone defended Cartwright and her weight, noting that she was definitely not fat. In response, Taylor wrote, "My girl has curves and I love every inch of them!!!

[Brittany is] a woman and amazing in every way!!"

Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor have been dating for a year and a half

Cartwright and Taylor began dating during "Vanderpump Rules" season four. A short time later, Cartwright moved to Los Angeles to be with the SUR Restaurant bartender.
