"Bates Motel" will be filmed in the metro area of Vancouver, and the media has been stalking the area in hopes of getting a glimpse of Rihanna, who is playing the iconic role of Marion Crane, Vancouver Sun reports. Apparently, "Bates Motel" posted a filming notice in the area that revealed that the crew would be filming scenes from early morning until 9 P.M.. It brought the speculation that the entertainer could be part of the scenes, prompting the media to stick around to get a first look at Rihanna's version of the iconic Marian Crane.

Rihanna tapes her scenes

The city of Vancouver has installed "no stopping" signs near the building, and a bus stop has been relocated two blocks south to accommodate the filming of "Bates Motel." Apparently, Rihanna should appear to film her scenes, and the media are anxious to see if they can figure out any spoilers for the last season of the A&E hit show -- especially any scoops that would reveal Marion Crane's storyline.

For those "Bates Motel" fans that aren't aware of Marion Crane's fate, she was murdered by Norman Bates (who is played by Freddie Highmore) in the hotel's shower. It is a legendary scene and has terrified "Psycho" fans and followers for decades. People to this day check behind the shower curtain, out of fear that Norman could be standing there waiting to butcher them to death.

Rihanna dives into her role

Rihanna was seen for the first time on the set of "Bates Motel" on Tuesday, November 15. Rihanna changed her look for her role.

She has short red hair (which probably is a wig) and dressed in a conservative women's suit.

Nestor Carbonell, who plays Sheriff Alex Romero, revealed several months ago that he would direct the episode featuring Rihanna. He doted on her acting ability and called the entertainer "incredibly talented and dedicated to her role." When pressed for more information, he refused to say anything further, and stated that the fans would have to tune in to find out when the series returns in the Spring.

How will the series end?

So far, all we know is that Norman will slip into further madness and will believe that Norma (Vera Farmiga) is still alive. Sheriff Romero has vowed to make sure Norman pays for "murdering" his mother, and won't rest until he is behind bars. Alex will face an uphill battle because the police believe Norman's innocent act. If it ends the way the original Alfred Hitchcock film did, Norman will face murder charges, but only after Marion Crane dies and her sister seeks answers about her disappearance.
