Injuries occur every season on "Dancing with the Stars," and this season is no exception. Pro dancer Sharna Burgess did not dance last week because of an injury she received to her knee during rehearsals the previous week. Jenna Johnson took Sharna's place and danced with James Hinchcliffe on the Halloween episode. Even so, James soared to the top of the leaderboard and received immunity from elimination. Jana Kramer is in the same situation this week becauseher pro partner, Gleb Savchenko, received a knee injury during last week's rehearsals.

Gleb Savchenko's injury

Jana Kramer's pro partner Gleb Savchenko is not expected to dance on Monday night's ShowStoppers episode. His partner shared the unfortunate news on Twitter. Jana will dance with AlanBersten who is replacing Gleb. Alan is known for appearing on "So You Think You Can Dance." It is interesting that the pros are the ones who were injured and not their celebrity partners. Even so, the show mustgo on. This is the first time, two pro partners had to be replaced at the same time.

ShowStopper Night

Week 9 is expected to be anaction-packed episode with its ShowStopper theme, which will feature the return of two-time champion Mark Ballas. Ballas is now performing in the Broadway show, "Jersey Boys." He will join Marilu Henner and his friend Derek Hough with a samba. The other five couples will perform a dance inspired from other Broadway shows. Additionally, there will be a Team Challenge where the six remaining couples will be divided into three groups.

The winner of each group will get additional points added to their individual scores that will help keep them from being eliminated next week.

The "Let It Go" singer joins Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough, and Bruno Tonioli. Besides judging, Menzel will also perform her new single "Queen of Swords."
