Jolie, 41, appeared poised in a black blouse and stylish black blazer, sporting simple makeup in her recorded video message for the International Criminal Court.

Angelina emphasized that "successful prosecution and new legal a part of the long and vital generational effort." Consequently, she added in the clip; she believes that is the "light" in which the "court's new policy on children should be seen."

Actress seeks to protect children around the world

Jolie issued her statement as part of an effort to provide support for the International Criminal Court's effort to improve protection for children around the globe, the Huffington Post noted.

For more than a decade, Angelina has worked to be an advocate for the rights of children, including zones where there is conflict such as Afghanistan and Syria. Her new video also provides praise for the International Criminal Court's commitment to protecting children.

Divorce from Brad Pitt continues

With regard to Jolie's divorce from Brad Pitt, a representative for Angelina told the Huffington Post that the actress "felt she had to take action for the health of the family."

Regarding the involvement of the Department Of Children And Family Services (DCFS), the organization is "satisfied the safeguards are put in place that will allow the children [to] heal," added the representative.

The couple has six children.

Maddox is 15, while Pax is 12. Zahara is 11, and Shiloh is 10. The twins, Knox and Vivienne, are 8 years old.

Brangelina uncoupling includes homes

Just like Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have become known as "Jelena," Brad and Angelina have become known as "Brangelina." Now, amid their divorce, Brangelina has also started to sell off their "marital assets," the Los Angeles Times revealed.

As part of the divorce, their home in New Orleans sold for $4.9 million. The couple purchased the home in 2007 for $3.5 million.
