Two big Hindi movies, "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" and "Shivaay" were released all over the world on October 28, 2016. As both these films completed their one week run, trade experts are still unclear to finalise the winners in the race because of the neck to neck competition.

According to latest updates, both these movies have started their journey to enter the elite Rs 100 Crore club. As of now, "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" has collected more than Rs 85 Crores, while "Shivaay" has grossed nearly around Rs 76 Crore.

Yesterday, i,e Friday, Shivay collections was 4.61 cr compared to 4.56 cr of  ADHM. Interesting days ahed.

Ajay Devgn's film just behind:

In the opening weekend, "Shivaay" performed really well at the box-office due to its hype.

But later, on weekdays, the collections dropped a bit, but on the initial day of the second weekend, the film has got back its lost momentum.

The case of "Aa Dil Hae Muskil" is vice versa. The film started on a moderate mode during the first weekend, but on weekdays, this Karan Johar directorial rose up to the expectations, and it literally overpowered "Shivaay" and other regional releases.

As no major films were released this week, the glorious earnings of these flicks is expected to continue in the coming days as well.

Both movies have excellent star cast.

The Karan Johar cinema features Ranbir Kapur, Aishwarya Rai and Anuska Sharma in the lead roles.

'Shivaay' audience response:

This movie is a romantic drama which revolves around a young man and two ladies. Karan has included all the commercial elements to make it a perfect entertainer, and it has succeeded in impressing critics and audiences alike.

"ADHM" public reaction:

On the other hand, Ajay Devgan's big budget flick showcases the story of a daring mountaineer who turns to be a destroyer when the need arises. It is made with a budget of Rs 105 Crores, and we should wait to know whether this film will emerge as a safe bet for the producer.
