Rajinikanth fans all over the globe are now in a state of frenzy, as the first official look of his most-anticipated mega budget movie "2.0" was released on the evening of November 20, 2016.

The first look posters also feature Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar who is playing the role of the main antagonist in this flick.

'2:0' is most expensive Indian movie ever

Made with a mammoth budget of more than Rs. 350 Crores, this film, is touted to be the most expensive film ever made in the history of Indian cinema.

In the first look, we can see Akshay Kumar in the most devilish avatar. We can see his face hidden in front of the deadly claws, which clearly indicates that this character will be the evilest character which we have ever witnessed.

During the event, the makers of the movie also gave us a hint about the efforts which were taken by the makeup artists to shape the look of Akki in this film.

Shahrukh Khan, Kamal Hassan attend the mega event in Mumbai

Karan Johar hosted this prestigious event which was held in Mumbai. Several eminent personalities in the Indian Cinema including Shah Rukh Khan, Kamal Haasan and all other crew members of "2.0" attended the first look revealing ceremony.

During the launch, director Shankar told that "2.0" will be a milestone in the history of Indian cinema, and it will reshape the sci-fi genre which remains unexplored in the Indian entertainment arena.

Rajinikanth too delivered a spectacular speech during the event. He lauded director Shankar for his excellent cinematic making skills and also added that "2.0" will be a real treat for all kinds of audiences.

The Superstar told that this movie would take Indian cinema to global audiences, as it is being made with an International dimension.

Lyca International is producing the movie.

Amy Jackson has played the part of Lady lead, while Mozart of Madras A R Rahman is composing the music.

The event was live streamed on Youtube.

Earlier Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger was shortlisted for the role of Akshay Kumar.
