The "Walking Dead" character Michonne, played byDanai Gurira, is easily one of the biggest stars of the series, even threatening to out-shine Lauren Cohen's Maggie Greene. Since her debut in season 3, she has become not only a deadly character rivaling Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs), but also spawned her own spin-off in the video game based on the TV series. With her extremely cool katana sword and persistent attitude of survival, she's fully aware of the dangers involved with her role in the group.

Everything changed when Negan and his group, the Saviors, came along. Now there is a civil war brewing and new allies to gain. Fans of the comic book the show is based on, as well as those who have seen spoiler photos of what's to come in season 7, are aware that Negan is close to taking on another heavy hitter.

Ezekiel and his tiger Shiva have yet to be revealed

The Kingdom's leader Ezekiel is set to become a bigger thorn in Negan's side than Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his group, according to Cleveland.

Rick's group will end up joining forces with Ezekiel in order to fight off their latest nemesis, and Michonne could easily step up once again as a force to be reckoned with.

The premiere episode of season 7 showed us that nobody is beyond the reach of Negan's barbed-wire bat "Lucille," and Michonne has always been known as a kind of loner. It was only recently that she overcame her previous losses and decided to try love again with Rick.

That didn't work out so well for Maggie and Glenn, however. After Glenn became Negan's second victim, following Abraham, it's clear that show-runner and creator Robert Kirkman isn't afraid to destroy relationships to further the plot. Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz) had been involved with long-running ally Sasha Williams (Sonequa Martin-Green), as you'll notice in the "Walking Dead" wiki and on the TV show.

Rick is another one whose love-life may be thrown into turmoil. His role as the group's spiritual leader, hard-won in season 2, led to him and Michonne being a couple, and possibly even giving the TV series its third child to raise in horrible conditions.

Could Michonne meet her endin 'The Walking Dead' season 7?

After seeing the potential end to her possibly short-lived love-life with Rick, Michonne could easily go back to her ways from before anyone had even heard of Negan. She had abruptly lost her boyfriend and brother before, and it led to her taking that route. Of course, she has also been filling multiple roles which the comic book originally had planned for others like Andrea, so it's doubtful she will be taken out so early.

The IMDb currently only has her cast for 5 episodes of season 7, as Danai Gurira also has two movies in the works. One is the Tupac Shakur biopic "All Eyez On Me," and the other is the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film "Black Panther."

A lot is unknown at this point, and as Negan stated in "The Walking Dead" season premiere, we're just getting started.
