Fans knew from “The Walking Dead” Season 7 spoilers and cliffhanger episode that one person would die at Negan’s hands in the season premiere but many were shocked when two victims were pummeled in brutal deaths – both Glenn Rhee and Abraham Ford. But there are more deaths coming from the Alexandria group – two more will be dead in just a few episodes.

Fallout from the Negan confrontation

One of the coming "TWD" deaths is a confirmed Negan kill and the second seems a likely Negan kill, although this is a break from her fate in the graphic novels. After Negan’s brutal bat beating of Glenn and Abraham, the broken survivors head to the Hilltop to get Maggie treated for her pregnancy complications and then most of them head back to Alexandria.

They have a week until Negan comes knocking for his fealty payment. Every time Negan comes to Alexandria, things get tense. In most of the other communities, Negan doesn’t make house calls, as we’ve already heard, beyond the initial killing of one resident to insure compliance. For Alexandria, though, he makes exceptions because they are a troublesome lot.

A traitor in the safe zone

Spencer Monroe will die in “The Walking Dead” Season 7 Episode 8 (or perhaps 7) and it will be at the hands of Negan as it was in the graphic novels and it’s all about Spencer trying to take power from Rick Grimes. Spencer has chafed at Rick’s authority for a while now even though his mom Deanna Monroe wanted Rick to be a leader among them. Spencer sees the Negan upheaval as his opportunity.

The problem is that those who remained behind in Alexandria don’t know the extent of the horrors that Negan committed or just how scary and dangerous he is.

While Rick is gone at Hilltop, Negan stops by Alexandria and Spencer decides to try and take command. We should see Spencer do what he did in the comics and try to usurp Rick. Negan responds by disemboweling him.

An innocent in the safe zone

According to The Spoiling Dead forum, in the same episode of "The Walking Dead" Spencer and Olivia die. Both actors disappeared from the shooting sets in Atlanta that they track. This indicates one of two things. Either Olivia dies a death quite unlike she did in the comics or a new threat will raise its head even while Negan is still a complication for the Alexandria group.

Negan isn’t known for killing women, so it seems strange that he might harm Olivia, but you never know. In the comics, Olivia died at the hands of The Whisperers, a new threat that "TWD" producers have said we won’t see in Season 7 – unless they show up at the season finale. Look below at “The Walking Dead” Season 7 spoilers video from Comic Con at the 1:56 mark.

You see Negan sipping lemonade with his arm around a terrified looking Olivia.

It could be that Negan in the TV show doesn’t follow the rules of Negan in the comics and does kill women. Or it could be that Olivia tries to save the community by bravely trying to off Negan herself and he takes her down in self-defense. That seems plausible if this scene comes after he guts Spencer.

Two more deaths - is anyone safe?

The reassuring news is that no major characters seem to die in Season 7 from the core group Rick, Maggie, Michonne, et al, after the initial “Lucilling” in the clearing. Daryl Dixon was taken captive by Negan but he’ll survive – “The Walking Dead” spoilers show that Negan keeps Daryl as something of a human pet to alternately befriend and torment.

But what is clear is that Spencer and Olivia will meet a bloody end at Negan’s hands – Spencer definitely and Olivia probably. The Spoil the Dead forum predicts these two will meet their maker in “The Walking Dead” Season 7 Episode 8 “Exodus” and this should be the mid-season finale since this marks the halfway point of the 16-episode season.

“The Walking Dead” airs Sunday nights on AMC.
