Blake Shelton is known for his willingness to help and support the star hopefuls that perform on “The Voice” stage. He has even helped those who have not won to continue on with their music careers. The banter that goes on between him and the other judges keeps the audience entertained week after week. Adam Levine and Shelton often seem at odds and prone to arguing, but it’s all part of their good-natured friendship.

Music and Miracles Superfest to help many people

Blake Shelton will take time from his music career and appearance on The Voice, to be one of the super star performers at “Music and Miracles Superfest” on April 22, 2017.

Shelton will head line the concert that is held at Jordan-Hare Stadium, in Auburn Alabama. According to Country Music Tattle Tale, Lynyrd Skynryd will also put in an appearance at this concert.

This is the second year that Miracles and Music Fest will be at this venue. Last year was the inaugural launch and it was a huge success. The concert was original planned by Kevin and Stacy Brown, owners of Chicken Salad Chick Restaurant, in Auburn. They planned to raise money and awareness both for cancer and to feed the hungry.

Even though the first concert, last year, had a sold out crowd, Kevin did not get to witness it, as he had already passed from the cancer that he was hoping to help battle for everyone with this concert. This year’s proceeds will also go to the The Chicken Salad Chick Foundation.

Last year’s concert, held on April 23rd, had a crowd of 50,430 people attend. Interesting enough, Blake Shelton’s now ex-wife, Miranda Lambert was one of the country stars to perform at this first concert held to raise cancer awareness and feed the hungry.

'The Voice’s' Blake Shelton gives to many charities

This is not the first time Blake Shelton has stepped in with charitable contributions, either by giving of his time or by performing for the cause. He even went so far as to ask fans to donate to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital instead of sending him birthday gifts last year.

In 2013, Shelton donated $20,000 to the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation to help save the wildlife in his home state.

The donation also went to help fund wild life educational programs for kids in his home state. Tickets for this event are now on sale by visiting the Music and Miracles Superfest website.
