The Duggar Family are no longer known for their sweet demeanor and humble hearts. Scary scandals about incest, molestation and infidelity have bedeviled their image, and people are concerned for the children living under this religious patriarchy. Some women have escaped their residence through marriage; Jessa Duggar, Jill Duggar and Jinger Duggar are either engaged or wedded to men Ben Seewald, Derick Dillard and Jeremy Vuolo. The TLC reality series "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" showcases these women tackling life as girlfriends, wives and mothers. Jessa Duggar is pregnant with her second child, and Jinger Duggar is a fiancée to Jeremy Vuolo.

Their existence in Arkansas is filled with mundane activities such as: inventive projects, airport visits, birthday parties, family gatherings and church attendance. However, Jill Duggar and husband Derick Dillard break that routine to pursue missionary work in Central America. Their fans can read about these two stars on their blog The Dillard Family. Topics like mental illness, danger and courtship are available to peruse.

Color the Dillard family blue

Depression is a serious issue that millions and millions of people battle every day. Unpleasant emotions like sadness are normal, but the constant burden of sleep problems, appetite fluctuations, energy depletion, dreary outlook and suicidal idealization or attempts are dangerous symptoms that need specialized treatment.

If anyone struggles with these obstacles, seek help immediately! Psychiatrists and psychologists are there to prescribe anti-depressants or administer counsel. These are my suggestions, but Dillard believes in another route. He writes, "For professional help, I would encourage you to seek the help of a properly certified Christian counselor."

Lions, tigers and bears, oh my!

Jill, Derick and their toddler, Israel, have a second home in El Salvador. The pulverizing pressure from guns and gangs have defeated this family into bits of frazzled nerves. They frequent the United States to rejuvenate their spirits, and revitalize their passion to convert the locals. Dillard states, "Many of the men in Central America are in custody for gang involvement." The brood of three craves safety from the instability of that country, and their hometown provides a sanctuary for these fanatics. Their priority now is the upcoming nuptials between Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo, so the mission field will have to take a backseat.

Make love, not war

The Dillard's are not stricken with perpetual unease. The sizzle between Jill and Derick overflows with the creativity and zeal of high school love letters. The negative press associated with Jill's brother Josh Duggar cannot overshadow the heartfelt tenderness Derick expresses to his wife Jill. She reciprocates similar feelings in her own words, too. A divorce between these two lovebirds would be more shocking than the separation of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Another two years will elapse into twenty, and this couple will photograph more memories of themselves, Israel and his many brothers and sisters.
