Telugu film "Premam" starringNaga Chaitanyawas released in India and across the world on Friday,Oct. 7, 2016.

The movie is getting overwhelmingly positive reports from all across, and in all probabilities, it will emerge as a hit just like the original Malayalam movie did.

While remaking movies, the major challenge faced by the director is to regain the elegant essence offered by the original. Chandoo Mondeti has also faced the same problem while remaking Malayalam blockbuster "Premam" to Telugu, and fortunately, the director has come out with flying colors in this attempt.

Three love tales blended with perfection

Naga Chaithanya has portrayed therole of three different phases of his life; his teenage, college days and the matured thirty. During his tenth standard, he meets the character played by Anupama Parameshwaran, the cute girl who lives in his neighborhood. Unfortunately, this love did not work out, and it pulled him to a state of distress.

During the college days, he fell in love with his lecturer, played by Shruti Haasan. This teacher-student love is the major highlight of this flick, and both the actors portrayed their respective characters with elegance.

An accident which happened to Shruti's character turned the love story upside down, and at this time too, he became mentally shattered.

Naga Chaitanya excels, but not up to Nivin Pauly

Tollywood young star Naga Chaitanya has tried his best to give full life to the characters which he played on screen, but he reached nowhere near to Nivin Pauly who did the lead role in the original.

Watch first-day-first-show audience response:

Shruti Haasan's acting was a bit melodramatic in nature, and she was unable to recreate the magic delivered on screen by Sai Pallavi. It was the brilliant screenplay which covered up all the flaws in this movie.
