Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards have had an up and down relationship for the past several years. Although the former "Teen Mom" couple parted ways shortly after the birth of their son Bentley over seven years ago, they have been required to remain in contact as they co-parent the child.

During recent episodes of "Teen Mom OG," Bookout has seemingly been on the outs with Edwards and failed to invited him to the birthday party of her second child, daughter Jayde Carter McKinney. A short time prior, Edwards had threatened to crash Bookout's upcoming wedding if she failed to send him an invitation. Despite their frequent spats, Maci Bookout appears to still care for Edwards and hopes that he will one day find happiness.

Oddly, that happiness for Edwards may come in the form of someone very close to his ex-girlfriend -- at least according to Bookout.

Maci Bookout thinks Ryan Edwards needs someone like her in his life

According to a report by Us Weekly days ago, Bookout recently opened up about Edwards' ideal woman. In a segment for MTV, Bookout said that Edwards' perfect match would be a lot like her. However, according to the mother of three, Edwards likely needed someone who wasn't quite as hard on him as she was. Bookout also admitted that she often worries about Edwards and believed that he needed to learn to love himself before he could truly be happy in a relationship.

Does Ryan Edwards have a second child on the way?

Earlier this year, months after Edwards split from Jordan Brown, who was believed to have been his most recent girlfriend, the reality dad took to Twitter, where he said he was going to be a dad again.

However, after deleting the post a short time later, Edwards has stayed completely silent about his announcement and chosen to instead post about other things on his Instagram page, including his summer fun and camping outings.
